Bobby's Story
As a high school teacher and counselor, Bobby Gonzalo had time each summer to visit family in Spain. It wasn’t long before other teachers asked Bobby how he could afford to travel to Europe on a teacher’s salary. In response, Bobby put together a trip for a small group of teachers. It was important to him that his guests weren’t packing and unpacking every day so he arranged for them to visit a variety of sites from one central location. Bobby also wanted the total cost to include all ground transportation, four-star hotels, breakfast every morning, entrance fees, and tips, and yet be affordable to the average teacher. That was 30 years ago and Gonzalo & Associates Tours still lives by this mission: An all-inclusive trip even a school teacher can afford.
